Bratuš is a small fishing village founded in the 18th century, the arrival of several families from Podgora. The place name Bratus is first mentioned in 1674.
 
Due to the harmonious and picturesque appearance is the most desirable place to rest those who seek peace, pleasant atmosphere and local cuisine. The village lives 50 permanent residents.
 
In the center is a nice space between the house called the Kačić court. In front of the village is a bay with  beach and a small boat dock.
 
Above Bratuš there is a prehistorical site Gradina with with dominating central rock and a few smaller around it. Today Bratus is a small fisherman place oriented towards tourism, whose center is dominated by old stone houses.
